Mediterranean Spiced Roast Lamb draws inspiration from the vibrant cuisines of the Mediterranean, where bold herbs and spices are celebrated. This dish features succulent lamb marinated with a blend of rosemary, oregano, garlic, and paprika, then slow-roasted to perfection. Paired with roasted vegetables or a fresh Greek salad, it offers a harmonious balance of flavours. Ideal for festive gatherings, Sunday roasts, or special occasions, this recipe brings the warmth and aromatic charm of the Mediterranean to your dining table.

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:


Lamb leg for roasting
2 tbsp Spice Culture East Mediterranean Spice
2 tbsp olive oil
Rosemary sprigs
3 garlic cloves unpeeled
Vegetables to roast i.e. : potato, sweet potato, carrots, pumpkin

Instructions:

  • Rub leg of lamb with oil and coat with EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN SPICE.
  • Preheat oven to 200deg
  • Bake in oven for 15 minutes on high and lower to 180deg and roast until cooked.
  • Cooking time will depend on the size of the leg of lamb.
  • Add vegetables to the roasting pan allowing 1 hour of cooking time.


Serve with peas, beans, gravy.

Top with Fetta cheese and drizzle with olive oil.
